We’re looking for a Magento Core Developer who can put their earbuds in and knock out modules and integrations on a regular basis.

This position will report to the e-commerce product owner and his / her responsibilities will be:
Your job will be developing the Core structure of Magento e-commerce sites.
– Apply up to date web development methods and use a solid understanding of good development principles.
– Develop new modules and core functionalities.
– Integrate with 3rd party services and APIs.
– Create payment modules.
– Configure and optimize hosting environments.
– Develop with optimization and extensibility in mind. Everything should be comprehensive and follow Magento development principles.
– Provide estimates of development time for core tasks.
– Communicate with Team Members and functional mentors to execute large, bug-free development tasks.
– Colaborate with frontend developers to implement new functionalities.
– Technical design & planning of implementations.
Things you know/have done:
– Object Oriented PHP
– Zend Framework development
– MySQL
– CLI Tools
– Git Version Control or comparable Version Control System
– Linux environments set up and configuration
Things that will impress us:
– Our approach depends on our teams working together efficiently. You’ll need good communication skills and willingness to take responsibility for your errors.
– Experience in A/B Testing
– Knowledge in HTML5 & CSS3
– Object Oriented Javascript Development.
– Magento Developer or Developer Plus Certification
– Magento Theme Development Experience
– Experience working on large multi-country projects.
