Graduate GSK: Statistician
Science is the bedrock of our success and our scientists are world leaders in their respective fields. Our graduate Science programmes are available within global manufacturing and supply (GMS). When you join, you will become part of a huge, global network that supplies four billion packs of medicines and healthcare products per year
This three-year programme involves different rotations to give you wide experience within different roles and working environments, alongside a number training courses. Throughout the scheme, you will have numerous opportunities to meet with other graduates for training, and networking events. You will undertake a number of core training and personal development courses, alongside additional opportunities arranged using your personal training budget.
Joining our global manufacturing and supply (GMS) division, you’ll undertake business-critical roles within Pharmaceutical or Consumer Healthcare supply – depending on your area
As a Manufacturing Statistician graduate at GSK, you can expect to work on:
– Process Robustness: e.g. helping devise sampling and testing plans to understand whether the critical quality characteristics of a batch of blended powder are homogeneous across the batch
– Product Development: e.g. using your statistics knowledge to help analysts understand the likelihood of a batch meeting its shelf life
– Site transfers: e.g. working with project teams to set up and execute the right studies to ensure that the product manufactured at a new site is equivalent to that of the product from the initial site
– Product Quality: e.g. working with supply chain leaders and teams to help them understand what process capability values mean and how they should use the metric to manage risk.
You’ll be part of a vibrant global scientific community, working in teams that combine a mix of disciplines. We’re at the cutting edge of science and technology, so you’ll never be far away from an expert who can help you grow, learn and deliver on your objectives
