Role Summary/Purpose
? Coordinate certification products process and lab requirements ? Product Strategy based on local market needs ? Market Segmentation and Targeting ? Product Value Proposition & Positioning ? Product Forecast & Product Mix ? Developing Product Sales strategy ? Provide product documentation ? Adapt general software tools for local need ? Develop & conduct GE Sales force and distributor training ? Local Regulatory knowledge and product compliance
Essential Responsibilities
? Internal Deliverables to the Product Manager Leader: ? Participate in the product guidelines with the PM Leader to define Product Portfolio and Local Product Regulations for execution in the local market. ? Support commercialization & ramp plan for new NPI?s. ? Provide local market requirements to the Latin America PM organization to develop Multi Generation Product Plan (MGPP) for that market. ? Managing Product Portfolio and Certifications ? Life Cycle ? Phase In / Phase Out Process ? Identifying new product opportunities ? Identifying product line extension opportunities ? Elaborating market requirements specifications ? Local Product Regulation ? Interaction with laboratories / certification entities ? Participation in regulatory committees ? Quality & Customer Issues Management ? Upload and update of product in ERP system ? Control of the Product Management budget and follow-up ? Packaging control and local market requirements
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum BS Degree: Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering degree preferred Minimum 3+ years experience of related Technology /Certification / Product Ability to influence across functions Fluent (Spanish or Portuguesse) and English
Desired Characteristics
Relevant experience in related in lighting products and certification processes Product Management experience a plus Experience working with large OEM customers
